The Construction & Commissioning Department is responsible for delivering QC inspection services, within Company's Contracts & Procurement processes, in such a way that goods and services are supplied and performed in accordance with the Specifications, Quality Requirements and HSE standards.
As an Inspector, you are responsible for inspections in accordance with approved Inspection Test Plans (TTP’s) and according to the required level of quality.
As such, you:
• Provide input to Project Procurement Plan and/or prepare and maintain Procurement Inspection Plan, QC plan if required.
• Participate in Kick Off Meetings and prepare, chair and minute Pre-Inspection Meeting.
• Review applicable supplier documents for assigned packages.
• Check inspection work files for completeness.
• Review progress status at suppliers and document approval status, during stage inspections.
• Prepare and attend inspections in accordance with approved Inspection Test Plans (ITP’s) and according to the required level of quality.
• Issue and close-out Product Non Conformance Reports (NCRs) and punch lists where required.
• Report all findings at the supplier with a “close-out call” to the Inspection Coordinator, Expeditor and/or responsible Engineer.
• Issue after each inspection visit a detailed Inspection Report and correctly administrate work.
• Liaise with the assigned certifying authority (CA) surveyors.
• Authorise release of equipment/material by issuance of a Release Note (RN).
• Issue Inspection waivers in conjunction with and approved by the responsible Project Engineer.
