Key Responsibilities:
1. Hybrid Cloud Architecture:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate existing infrastructure and design hybrid cloud solutions for on- and offshore.
• Develop strategies for seamless integration between on-premises data centres and public/private cloud platforms (e.g., Azure).
2. Deployment and Automation:
• Deploy, configure, and manage cloud resources, including virtual machines and serverless components. • Maintain and optimize cloud-based systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Automate deployment processes and configurations using tools like Terraform, Azure Resource Manager and Desired State Configurations.
3. Security and Compliance:
• Implement security according to company policies and best practices for hybrid environments.
• Configure identity and access management (IAM) policies, encryption, and network security.
• Ensure compliance; identify, analyse, and resolve vulnerabilities.
4. Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively address bottlenecks.
• Set up monitoring tools and alerts to detect anomalies and ensure smooth operations.
5. Collaboration and Documentation:
• Ultimately, you will work with different ICT professionals and teams to ensure our cloud computing systems meet the needs of our organization and customers.
• Document architecture, configurations, and procedures for hybrid cloud components.
