The Construction & Commissioning Department is responsible for delivering QC inspection services, within Company’s Contracts & Procurement processes, in such a way that goods and services are supplied and performed in accordance with the Specifications, Quality Requirements and HSE standards. As Bluewater we are a leading provider of innovative Single Point Mooring systems (SPM) and operator of Floating Production Storage and Offloading units (FPSO).

As Inspection Coordinator, you ensure that inspection activities are planned, prepared and coordinated with Clients, Vendors and Inspectors. Furthermore, you:
• Maintain the Inspection Planning based on Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) and Inspection Requests (IRQ).
• Assign Inspectors to the inspection activities and ensure the designated Inspector is familiar with the requirements.
• Monitor the vendor document review status for Inspection documents and expedite Inspectors to ensure these are approved before commencement of the inspection activities.
• Engage with internal Bluewater stakeholders as well as externally with Clients and Vendors to coordinate inspection activities and respond to Inspection Requests (IRQs).
• Are member of the team responsible for establishing the Project Inspection Levels (based on criticality assessment, in liaison with Project Manager, Project Engineer and QA Engineer).
• Engage with inspection agencies and evaluate candidates to ensure technically competency for their assigned roles.
• Receive and review inspection reports from assigned Inspectors and file and distribute these accordingly.
• Ensure that key issues arising from Inspection visits are brought to the attention of the relevant stakeholders.
• Communicate non-conformities (NCRs) to the project team and follow up corrective actions and NCR resolution.
• Report critical inspection matters to DH Construction & Commissioning.
